In Volume 136, Alauddin, Bala Hatun, Gonza Hatun, and the Alp warriors stood firm against the attackers. Though they faced challenges, the invaders were compelled to retreat. The skirmish resulted in numerous casualties, damages, and instability in Sogut.
Before this, the invasion plan against the Yenisehir castle was discussed between Urhan Bey and Mehmet Bey. While Urhan Bey initially opposed Mehmet Bey’s leadership, he ultimately accepted it due to Osman Bey’s allegiance to Yakup Bey. The next day, they decided not to proceed with the invasion plan. However, Mehmet Bey instructed the flagless warriors to kill Urhan Bey during the attack. In the midst of the battle, Mehmet Bey and Urhan Bey ended up captive in the Tekfur’s hands. Despite a momentary confrontation, Mehmet Bey failed to execute Urhan Bey.

Saadet Hatun advised Gonza Hatun not to indulge in a false relationship, but Gonza Hatun expressed her genuine affection for Alauddin Bey.
3. Castle Invasion and Urhan Bey and Mehmet Bey’s Captivity:
Yakup Bey assumed control of Yenisehir’s power after Osman Bey’s allegiance to him. He questioned her presence in the border market and her association with Metmet Bey. Holofera expressed her allegiance to Urhan Bey, despite Mehmet Bey’s disapproval.
5. Mangal Commander Akcasun’s Assassination and War Declaration Against the Mongols:
Osman Bey visited Mangal Commander Akcasun with 70,000 dirhams to pay taxes. However, Akcasun attempted to assassinate Osman Bey during the encounter. In retaliation, Osman Bey swiftly killed Akcasun and declared war against the Ilkhanid state. This news reached Urhan Bey and Mehmet Bey, who were captives at the Tekfur’s castle.
